Adventure Awaits

alaska conjures images of magic mountains

…pristine glaciers, and untamed wilderness. But what if we told you it's also a hotspot for incredible music festivals? From eclectic gatherings under the midnight sun to EDM bashes beneath the aurora borealis, Alaska offers unique musical experiences paired with breathtaking backdrops. Getting here might seem daunting, but don't be fooled! Alaska is surprisingly accessible. Major airlines offer direct flights to Anchorage from several hubs, and smaller airports cater to regional travel. Once you arrive, festival run shuttles, internal flights, and well-maintained highway systems make arriving and exploring a breeze.

ARRIVING TO ANCHORAGE

Your Gateway to Sacred Acre; Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, welcomes you with open arms as you embark on your Sacred Acre adventure. But how do you get from the airport to the festival grounds? Rest assured, fellow music lovers, you have options!

rental cars

For ultimate flexibility and control over your Alaskan adventure, consider flying into Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) and renting a car. This option allows you to explore Alaska at your own pace, perhaps grabbing a delicious meal or visiting local attractions before hitting the road to Sacred Acre.

Shuttle Service

For a stress-free start to your festival experience, convenient shuttle services operate directly from Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) to the Sacred Acre venue. This is a fantastic option, especially if you're traveling with luggage or unfamiliar with the Alaskan terrain.

Hitting the road yourself

Did you choose the epic Alaskan adventure and drive up via the Alcan Highway? Once you arrive to Anchorage, its not much further to Sacred Acre! There is only 1 right-hand turn on the entire drive from Anchorage to Ninilchik!

When exiting Anchorage towards Girdwood, you will take the Seward Highway that hugs the shorelines of Turnagain Arm, arguably one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in America. Chugach State Park's 3000-foot mountains jut up on your left. On the right, the sprawling, sometimes four-mile-wide flats of Turnagain Arm seem to stretch to the opposite shores of Cook Inlet, where sloping mountains abruptly stop the flat expanse. Each turn reveals another scenic wonder. 3 ½ hours of this magical awe-inspiring terrain and you arrive in beautiful Ninilchik Alaska.

ECO-CONSCIOUS EVENT

Sacred Acre strives to reduce waste as much as possible. In our efforts, all food service ware from all of our vendors is recyclable and/or compostable. All of our onsite drinks are served in to reusable steel tumbler cups. Additionally, we try to divert as much food waste from the landfill as possible to feed local animals and build local soils. We are partnering with The Community Compost Project to help the festival reduce waste and be as friendly to our watersheds as possible and to collect clean food waste. This includes pre-festival food prep scraps from food vendors!
